Why Budgeter exists

Most budgeting tools either want an account, a bank connection or a subscription — and most financial content online exists to sell a product. Budgeter takes the opposite approach: free tools that run in your browser, and educational content with nothing attached to it.

What we do

• A budget planner that stores your figures only on your own device.
• Eight calculators covering budgeting, spending, saving, debt and loans.
• A learning centre of practical guides written for beginners.

What we do not do

We do not sell financial products, we do not recommend lenders or providers, and we do not offer personal financial advice. We also do not collect your budget data — there is no account system and no server-side storage of your figures.

How our content is produced

Articles are written and reviewed by the Budgeter editorial team, with a focus on practical steps and realistic worked examples. Calculations are documented on each calculator page so you can check the method rather than trusting the output. Our editorial policy and testing process explain this in more detail.

How Budgeter is funded

The site may display advertising to cover hosting and development costs. Adverts are clearly separated from our content and never influence what we write or how a calculator works.
